Ok.. I have spent thr past 6 hours trying to reinstall WaW. I get the key codes intered. It then jumps into install mode. It goes for about 3/4 of the download then an error pops up. I have checked my drivers for updates and installed them all.Total lost on what to do next.
Let me know of what I might need, Thab=nks GUMP

What exactly, is the error? From Disc, or Steam?
If disc, copy it to your HDD, then install from that. Installers will give up on reading a bad disc before the OS will. If the disc wont; copy fully, then that's your problem. If that is the case, there are ways to get a full disc.

Hey Gump, just like Abram said, is this installation from a Disk or STEAM?
Disk: Make sure there aren't any fingerprints, scratches or any deformities on the Backside where the info is. Try other DVD Readers (trays) if you have more than one on your computer.
STEAM: You should just have to go to your Games Library and click on Install here.....
What are the error messages you are getting? Also, If you can't get PB to update (seems like they stopped supporting this game) I have a copy I can email you that I have been using. It is actually a copy of someone else s (Ted's). You will only need this if you are installing via the Disks.. If STEAM it should update it automatically...
Let us know...
