* Make sure to allow Black Ops to use multi cores: go to your steam folder, which was Local DisK\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty black ops\players for me. This may vary for you, however. Search for “seta r_multithreaded_device 0? and change it to “seta r_multithreaded_device 1?. Do this for singleplayer and multiplayer.
