I have no problem with a company recruiting individuals and using their talents for legitimate purposes. Any involvement with illegal/harmful activities is not okay by me.

Mixed on this one... its great that there going to move his skills in to a legitimate direction. However, this will encourage others to work on there hacking skills to hopefully land that dream job with a major corporation.
In my opinion, they should have worked with law enforcement in Dublin after they knew who he was to get some type of punishment. And at the same time working with him to say that after he does his time for his actions, he will be hired and work towards a legitimate use of his talents.
