Radio stations over here are reporting an impending Extreme Weather event in the US, around NY I think they said.

Wasn't too bad here in NYC (MAYBE 6 inches out there) - but almost everything is closed or shut down as of this morning. Transit, roads, and bridges just opening up. I was out and about at 7AM and it's lovely and quiet on the streets. I still have to work, though…
The dogs all looked pretty darn happy, though.

We're getting that mess as I type this... complete blizzard.... almost zero visibility... over 1 ft of snow so far and lots to go.......
