For Lesson 9, I am going to do an article on gaming.  I've recently started gaming and I have found a "Polite and Friendly" place to game.  It's a safe place for people of all ages, including teenagers, to go on teamspeak.  Being a member of the "Polite and Friendly" clan includes rules and etiquette and just sharing the fun part of gaming.  No swearing, no racism... just good old fun!  The ages in the clan actually go from 11 years old to 74 years old!  I think it will be a good article?

After joining BK, and still beeing shy to talk between the "veterans"

Awesome, was right into my mind-set about playing together, lot of servers are “different”

What do you like about “Polite and Friendly” versus other chat rooms?
This is a truly great clan on all aspects.
Comradeship, support, everyone helping everyone out, in all sorts of ways (we really have a lot of gifted and generous people here, in all areas).

What are the benefits to belonging to a clan?
Get to know people with a same mind-set about playing if you join the right clan

How many hours do you game on the average day?
Maybe a few hours a week no fixed days no fixed hours, play when I can or feel like it, as usually family comes first, then job and then leisure

How do you feel before gaming?
Relaxed

How do you feel during gaming?
Relaxed

How do you feel after gaming?
Sad I had to stop

Why do you like gaming?
Just love it, don’t know why

What is the best thing about gaming?
Since I’ve been playing multiplayer the opportunity to meet great people

Oldest sun is slowly joining in … but will take not a lot of time till he beats me

Definitely (is what I’m keep telling myself)

To Polite and Friendly:
This truly is my online family, even I’m not that a great talker in TS, I enjoy the company and voices of everyone there, am smiling/laughing a lot behind my screen.
It is astonishing the bond you can create with people you’ve never met or seen, never thought this could be possible.
And also all the great initiatives that are launched from within the clan, all reasons to be proud of.

In short, proud to be a member, we have an awesome leadership, officers and members.

What is your favourite game?   Black Ops-1

Why?  I like the weapons, the game play, and the way they built the game over all

How many games do you play?   About 7

What are some of their names?   World at War, Battlefield 4, 3, and Hardline, Command and Conquer Generals, Skyrim, Fallout series

How did you find teamspeak? The Clan I was in when The first COD came out got a server for Teamspeak

How did you find “Polite and Friendly”?   I am extremely thankful for being a part of this fine group of people

What do you like about “Polite and Friendly” versus other chat rooms?  I enjoy the no swearing aspect of it.....and the other rules we have that limit the animosity that can happen without the rules

What are the benefits to belonging to a clan?   Friendship and team work

How many hours do you game on the average day?   I use to play every night for a few hours but now it is a few hours on the weekends

Why do you like gaming?   Gives me another avenue to focus and have fun without it costing me an arm and leg

Do you game with other family members?  My two boys did, but they have started families...as you can tell...mine are grown

Do you think it keeps your mind sharp?   Yes.......All day I watch people work, my job, here I am in it

What is your favourite game?

Do not game much atm but love to play Call Of Duty World At War or Blacks Ops 1

Why?

Because History is my favorite class in school and World at War is based about World War 2 which was one of my favorite wars learning about.

How many games do you play?

Mostly only the games Polite and Friendly support but now I mostly only photoshop for the graphics team.  

What are some of their names?

World at War, Black Ops 1, and Battlefield Hadline

From the website and the In-game scrolling message on our servers.

How did you find “Polite and Friendly”?

My Father joined back in 2004 or 2007 dont remember and still is which inspired me to join this year once I turned of age.

What do you like about “Polite and Friendly” versus other chat rooms?

One key factor I look into clans is a Swearing rule because I do not appreciate those kinds of words. And secondly I love how they respect all ages of players and treat everyone equal. And that is what Polite and Friendly provides. Also, usely there are people in teamspeak and are willing to answer any questions and help you out with problems with Computers to Cars.

What are the benefits to belonging to a clan?

All players BK or not are treated the same which has always been constant because of the awesome atmosphere.  

How many hours do you game on the average day?

Summer - Almost every normal day
School Days - Mostly only weekends

One good thing about Polite and Friendly is there are no requirements of hours playing.

How do you feel before gaming?

Bored because gaming is so fun.

How do you feel during gaming?

Very comfortable because I feel like BK is like family.

How do you feel after gaming?

LIke I dont want to stop but have to go back to real life.

Stressed? Relaxed? Excited? Happy? Content? No different than usual?

Why do you like gaming?

It provides freedom and lets me brake my limits. Also some games provide me with reaction time practice for real life situations.

What is the best thing about gaming?

The freedom away from the real world.

Do you game with other family members?

No but I treat BK like family because I feel so comfortable around everyone in the clan.

Do you think it keeps your mind sharp?

Yes, especially in some games they help your reaction time.

Hmmm that's a hard one, about 35yrs or so from pinball & arcade through to PC games.

Call of Duty 5 World @ War

Why?
Probably because of it's atmosphere & game play

Only 3 now

CoD W@W, Black Ops & World of Warcraft

It was promoted in game

Stumbled across it and didn't realize it was crouch to move (oops)

Teamwork and the fun conversations. Also, it feels like my 2nd Family because my opinion counts

All kinds of help. From in game tips & tricks to help with your PC.

About 8hrs (more if i get up early)

Just that Bad Karma is a fantastic clan to be in and i would recommend it to anyone,  Polite and Friendly can be for all the family
