The decision has been made to shut down on 21st July 2016 due to the lack of activity.
GOA.Johnny gave us an extension of 3 months to turn the numbers around, and that time ends on the 21st.
We have done a fairly good job to populate it as much as we have, i have personally seen as many as 19 in the server at 1 time and being populated from 8pm to 3am with at least 8 players. But, quite simply, this is not enough. We would need to have 12 or more players every day for most of the day.
Sadly, i just can't see this happening in time, it's close at night, very close, but that would need to happen all day, and i do mean all day.
The server (all servers) costs money to run, and we just can't afford to funnel money to a server that costs this much for so little amount of players willing to play in there. As we run entirely on donations, it is not fair on our other servers, and those who donate to keep BK running, to have any server that is under performing as much as W@W has been.
Last year we were hurt badly by the server crashing so often, for so long and with Punkbuster dropping support for W@W didn't help at all either.
So thank you all for supporting our W@W server, and hope you keep playing on it until it is removed.
Keep an eye out for events in W@W, because there will be lots more in July.
