ASUS Monitor

So it's become apparent that my eyesight isn't what it used to be. Even with glasses on my 20" monitors are not letting me see targets in BF1 and PubG. I was just looking at a few sales going on up here and came across a cool ASUS 27" gaming monitor and was thinking about switching up. Has anyone here had any experience with these or any opinion to share?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. BTW the price is in Canadian dollars so it may look a bit high to our neighbors to the south.

BTW... Do you think I should get two or keep one of my 20" for TS and Badkon?

Hi Tek,
I got me an ASUS 24" gaming monitor last week. Really happy with it so far. It's an MG248QR.
Don't really have the space for a 27" at the moment but next time maybe...
However, I would go for a monitor with 144 Hz refresh rate. It does make a difference. The one you are looking at seems to be 75 Hz.

Thanks for the help folks. After having a conversation with CR1M3, I decided to switch up to a 144mhz monitor from BenQ. It should be here within the week and I'm anxious to see what PubG will look like with a better monitor.

I recently bought an MSI Optix G27C2. I think my older monitor is also a 27 inch. However, I wanted a monitor with less response time and higher refresh rate. I think this monitor is a 1ms with a refresh rate of 144Hz. I can say the games are unbelievably clearer and crisper than the other monitor. To me it also seems to be less harsh on my eyes. This version is also curved which again seems to make it easier on my eyes. With less movement I can see the whole screen.

Now I got this on sale so it was not as expensive as normal prices but I would highly recommend the higher refresh rate and if you can swing it the curved monitor. I did look at an ASUS monitor at Best Buy; that's how I started looking at the monitors but it was Black Friday sale only and I had no desire to fight the crowds. I did find the same monitors as well as the current one on Newegg for sale.

I did keep the old monitor and use it as my second screen for TS etc.
