Hello BK,

I miss you all incredibly!

I am looking to piece together a new computer and need some sugestions. My budget is not to exceed 1200. Not including the monitir

Processing power is my main concern. I will be doing mostly music and video recording and editing.

I need a computer with a big brain!  Muscles are secondary but need to be strong of course. Not Arnold stong but more like Bruce lee strong.
Audio will have to be a priority.
Other than that I wont get too pickey.

Thanks again for everything you do for each other!
Even though I left the clan I know you I can still ask for help.
Miss you BK!

hey reform,
I think for processing power the amd ryzen 2700x is the best value for money but you also require fast ram to use its full potential.

the sound isn't my area at all but most motherboards come with built in sound cards and are fairly good but if your wanting to move up from that i have heard you need to go with an external system.

now graphics cards you don't actuall need anything great but if you plan on screen capturing i would suggest a gtx 1070 or 1060 if the budget it to tight, this will also allow you to play games with good setting.

heres a list with prices, if anyone else wants to look over and suggest changes feel free. i didn't include any harddrives not sure if they are required etc

Yeah.... Put ya Tags back on  Very Happy

DO IT..

Recycle as much of your old system as you can (Case, Pwr supply, HDD's & CD drives etc.) to keep your costs down. You can always upgrade them later.

p.s. I'll leave the key under the mat at the back door to the BK office, let yourself back in anytime... anytime..

So turns out that it was nothing more than a power issue.

The computer guy shows up and turned on my computer.

Nothing. No beep code, no display no nothin.

He turned it off and unplugged it, held the power button for about five seconds and plugged it back in then turned it on.

Come on.......guess what happened.
