I have recently added another monitor, have tried with all different sized monitors for 17" to the current 23" monitor, and no matter what I do I get a screen flicker on one of the monitors.  I am running 2 5850 crossfired.  Has anyone experienced this and if so how did you correct it?  I have tried uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling, set both card back to default, and enabled/disabled overdrive in CCC.

I still only use a single monitor, but it is 28 inches.  However I am still getting green flashes here and there.  That is annoying.

I  would say you have a defective cable for that second monitor
switch with other monitor and see if problem shifts

Tried that, got two new cables from work (DVI).  I even flipped the cards to see if that fixed it but it made no difference.  It usually starts on my main screen, I can change the second screens resolution and it will leave the main screen and goes to second screen.  I have both screens set at the same refresh rate and resolution.  There are a lot of post of people having problems and most are able to disable the overdrive or OC just a tad and it fixes the problem, I have tried both and nothing.

Is your power supply large enough? Perhaps the draw on the graphic cards is draining the signal from the cables when your system warms up?

Do you always get flicker, or does it only occur when you do a specific action?? What kind of flicker is it? Brightness? Colors? Power?

I assume each monitor behaves properly when plugged (or active) in on its' own?

Im running the Cooler Master Silent Pro M1000 1000watt PSU.  It only happens with a dual setup.  You really notice it when your on the web, best way to describe it is it looks like its trying to mirror the image of the other monitor but half way down the screen.

Sounds like your cards aren't behaving properly with the monitors. Are the monitors identical or have slight differences, eg are the native resolutions and refresh rates the same? I fortunately have three monitors that are exactly the same make/models.
Might be worth a complete clean uninstall and reinstall of your drivers - though I'm sure you may have done this already.

Definitely you cards  (or one card) causing the problem. Does it stop when crossfire is disabled? Does it happen with jsut oen card installed? Try both on their own. A clean, complete uninstall/reboot/reinstall of the drivers is a good (and easy) place to start.

Does it happen on span or cloned modes?
