We are currently prepping for a Datacenter Relocation in Chicago. This move will take place on Tuesday, February 26th 2013.

We are expecting up to 24 hours of downtime as we pack up and move the hardware to the new location. We do expect that some services will start to come online Tuesday evening as things are racked and powered up, but please be prepared for a longer downtime, as it will simply depend on how things progress on site.

A credit will be given for 1 day for everyone affected automatically.

This new location will improve our overall network performance and ability to expand going forward. IPs and Data will remain intact, but there is always the possibility of a piece of hardware failing on the move, so please make a backup of your data if you are concerned. Voice server data is backed up automatically, so that will not be an issue.

We will update this service alert just prior to the work being started, and once again when work is completed.

This will affect our Black Ops server, World at War server, Battlefield server 1, and Teamspeak server. We will post a temporary Team Speak server for this day. Details to come shortly.

UPDATE:

On Tuesday February 26th 2013 our Main TS server will be down for at least a few hours for maintenance. We have put up a temporary TS server the IP is 63.209.37.46:9330

This is only a back up TS server for use when the main TS server is down.

Backup TS server info:
IP 63.209.37.46:9330
There is NO password.

Again this is only for when the main TS server is down.

While it sounds like something that needs doing, i'm just sorry about the lost Tac Day. If anyone needs me i'll be sobbing the in the darkest corner.... Sad

All servers are now back up. TS, W@W, BO, BF3.

No Democlient on Black Ops, though. Maybe just needs a restart...

Even I have to admit that was fast for the size of the job

Everything must have gone to plan with either no hardware failures or excellent contingency plans
