So basically i have a vanilla version of bf3 that i got from the humble bundle.
I'm waiting for a deal, because they pop up occasionally, but i need to know what exactly i need to play on the BK server.
i don't want to spend too much, but even if i pay 40 bucks, thats only 45 for the whole shebang, which isnt bad.

Premium is either 29.99 or 39.99 on origin right now which includes all map packs and such things, if you don't mind spending that then just get it off there. Make sure you get the premium version that does not include the game!

Yup, the "Premium" thing is all 5 DLC packs, along with a few other little goodies.

Big discounts for the Premium pack have been coming up a lot, lately. IF Origin itself, doesn't avhe an instant price reduction, you can probably find a coupon code. start searching for 'bf3 premium coupon' and I'm sure you'll find one without too much trouble..

I wouldn't pay more than $15 bucks for ALL of the expansion packs.

Make sure you have email notifications turned on for your forum account. When there is another deal, I will update this thread like I did on your other thread. The sale that just expired on GMG will come back, either there or one of the many other retailers. My guess is that it'll happen within a few weeks. Be patient grasshoppa!

Oh, and what you need to get is the "Premium Service" which is all of the expansions. That is different than the "Premium Edition" which is the core game AND all of the expansions.
