after i got my computer redone i was download cod 5 and the patchs and when i got to 1.5 it says it cant locate my valid call of duty cd key
does anyone know how i can fix this

The current patch is only 1.4.  Not sure where you are getting 1.5

lol i forgot to refresh my page so it said i need to update so i type cod 5 1.5 patch in google and downloaded the first one

When I Googled "COD 5 1.5 patch" the first hit appears to be a Linux dedicated COD server patch.  If that's the case, you might be lucky that you didn't install something malicious.  Moreover, the download page for that patch does not indicate what CoD version to which the patch applies.  Uninstall the patch and go to http://www.callofduty.com/intel to find the latest patch.
