Ok so i want to free us all of the spawn killing, rifle nadeing, pistol walking hell that is 'Courtyard'. Yes i know some people like it and that's fine(tho i can't see why), i have even got the odd 10 streak or 2.
This map makes me cringe, every time it comes up. I do play it some times that i'm on, but it is not fun, and 'fun' is why i play W@W in the first place.
So what i want to do is to replace it with another map that we have played on our server before, so what do you think?

As much fun as it is to play all the maps, they must all be of the smaller variety. Courtyard isn't comparable to any of the others mentioned above.  The ones above are server killers from midnight on EST. A better vote would be to trade it with Dome or not.

Just because a map is not on the rotation dose not mean it can't be thrown in from time to time. CO/CLs and above and add maps to W@W to play when ever. Some maps like Dome are only good with a few people on and some maps like cliff side are only good with 20 or more. Its a balance game that is never easy to get right.

I don't mind Courtyard...sometimes war is chaos...which Courtyard can be.  With that said...I wouldn't mind seeing Breach or Outskirts added for a bit.  Though, if I remember right, I think Outskirts causes issues when loading.

I thought this was a good chance to ask for my all time favorite Outskirts lol. CY is a slug fest and interesting on rifle nade day as it is a continuous morter like rain shower. Kind of different but not that great.

I didn't include 'Dome' for the same reason as courtyard, too small for riflenades in my mind. Makin and Makin day are not that much bigger than Courtyard maybe one of them?  If the all these maps cause prob's then my last option is to suggest we drop Courtyard on the non IMF days.
Thank you all for your opinions and comments and i understand the concerns of changing the map for another.

Courtyard.....   Rolling Eyes slaughterfest map. Dome would be a nice change. Makin-Day would also be nice to see once in a while. I didn't vote as the replacements are not in the same parameters as Courtyard. We need small maps for balance, but perhaps changing them up a bit more often would be welcome.

Any map can be played. Just ask admin on TS to add map in. Not that hard to do. It wont be in continual rotation but change is nice sometimes! I've had Seelow and Outskirts thrown in at times. Very Happy The main issues is late at night,early morning, servers will clear out on bigger maps.

Frankly - I would welcome ALL the maps just for the variety sake. I mean - we are playing a game that is 4-5 years old now and having a limited rotation means you play the same ones over and over and over. It would be great to have the ability to skip a map for those late night sessions where you need mostly small maps - which might eliminate the issue. I mean - wouldn't we all benefit from getting the opportunity to plays maps that we haven't seen in months/years with the option of voting to skip any map that might be a server killer at ANY time? Courtyard is fine on IMF days but impossible on rifle nade days. Likewise - on a Monday morning at 11 AM with 8 people on the server - Downfall can be a real server killer too. At these times there are often no admins to service the whims of any particular set of players in the WaW server 24/7 - so can it be vote based?
