From EA Answers HQ:

Quote:

copy the entire Battlefield 4 install folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4)

over to another drive.

After installing your OS, download and install the Origin client.

Login to the client and start downloading BF4, when the Kbs are "ticking"

pause the download and exit Origin.

Copy the BAttlefield 4 folder back to the location of Origin.

Open the Origin client and start the download again.

Origin checks the existing files and skips then if in order.

The "download" should complete very fast and the game

wil be installed.

I did this with BF3, and when i copied the fiels back to new drive and start Origin again, a 'download' progress start, but all it did was check the files. May want to also do a Repair Install, just in case. I'm kinda sad to say, but I had some wonky issues with BF4 when it first came out. I tried a repair, many different settings, etc. Finally I deleted it and Origin, removed all traces of it,a dn grabbed the whole 30+gb again, and now it works great.

You may also want to backup your current C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Battlefield 4\ folder so you don't have to set your controls again.

Oh yes, you will. I too, am waitingfor  new SSD, adf every time I do a format, I start backing up my files; savegames, bookmarks, emails, customised files, those pain in teh butt tweaks, etc. But i always, ALWAYS overlook something If thi8s is your first SSD, be sure to look at soem SSD tweak guides, and make sure you have AHCI enabled on your motherboard  before isntalling your OS
