They would be cool, but there are only one type of monitors that can run them atm, so most likely if you buy them you also have to buy a new monitor, but they are indeed very cool, I was looking at them a while ago

Yeah the package deal is for $600 or so. I'm partly blind in one eye so I don't think they would even work for me. But if someone had $600 to spend, it would be awesome to play with.

Yea Nvidia bought up a whole bunch of Samsung 22" 120hz monitors for that package.  Looks really cool..

I was able to use 3d super bowl glasses with this http://gamerslastwill.com/2009/02/02/3d-left-4-dead-for-free-oh-yeah-heres-how/  It worked pretty good with Left 4 dead.  Tried it with W@W and not to bad.  Close up is where it worked the best.  Long distance not so.

But that set up looks really good and 120hz monitors are coming down in price.

Ill think about purchasing it when it comes down to the price of a nice set of jeans instead of the price of a whole computer
