This new version release on March 13 took a couple features that i like, away. Fortunately, the server version didn't change, so an older Client can still connect. The previous on was v3.0.13.1

- Removed "Hide in taskbar" option
- Removed "Use double click to activate" option, tray icon activation is now
using the platform standard behavior (double click on Windows, single click
 on other platforms)

And it fudged my overlay settings a bit. Though I think I found the solution for that one. Still, the two lame changes above and enough for me to revert. I'm not alone in this. the forums already has some people missing it. I suspect it'll come back in the next update.

I wish i didn't update, as now i have no overlay and can't use that stupid overwolf either. ill try the older version tho.

I was always  told 'if it's not broke, don't fix it'.

May my Betty's protect me from Knife attacks....

well  i had to install 'TeamSpeak3-Client-win64-3.0.11' and it did the trick i now have overlay working in game. had to work my way backwards to get it to work tho...
btw i have Win7 and i  uninstalled as i went too. The only problem it has is that you can't program a hot key and it asks you to do that each time you start up ts3. for me it's np.

May my Betty's protect me from Knife attacks....

My Overlay worked fine,  but I've heard of a few that installed the latest ts3, THEN the plugin,  and it didn't work.

It should be noted that this Overlay had been deprecated,  and that guy has another one on Beta. But progress is slow,  and i really dislike Overwulf.

Grab the Beta here: http://projectkryptonite.com

Thanks, Abram. I hate overwolf (it's way too distracting!) and I'm frustrated that the overlay no longer works. I'll try the beta - but if that doesn't work - do I have to uninstall my current version of TS and install the older version to get the overlay back again?

That seems to be the case.  But it never hurts to try it on the latest version. Let us know of it does.

If you do decide to uninstall ts3, i recommend removing the leftover files in your appdata folder.  See this post about backing up your Identity and so forth:
