Hey All,
Question. I understand that "Now-a-Days" you can fax information from your computer to a company or individual with out using a fax machine. I have windows 7 pro. Dose anyone know how this works???

There is a few ways. you can buy fax system software which sends it as a fax over the phone line or you can save/print a documents in a format such as pdf or xps and email it to an individual

I actually do this all the time. You need a Fax Modem for the hardware. I use this device: http://www.amazon.com/USRobotics-USR5637-FaxModem-Windows-Linux/dp/B0013FDLM0. All you need is to configure the modem to your specifications. No software needed. I use Windows Fax and Scan Manager. That's it!
