Ok, here is some of the things I have observed

Loot - Little less than before with a kick, more of the rarer items about (M65 jackets , smersh vests etc.) and less of the very common stuff (sewing kits etc.)

Zombies - aggressive, quick, hard to beat down and more numbers, kicker, keeping a decent distance from them will allow you to move freely without threat (not saying go around without caution)
Example, today running the NE Airfield on the tarmac 1st run - 3 Z's cruzing around the vehicles (good loot) yes i did get to close and they came all 3 but 3 shots each with AK74u and down they go. next couple of runs keeping good distance but looting the vehicles no threats, no shots and did the whole airfield that way buildings vehicles and off to the hills

Tents (3man) - Unreliable at this time, seems several have just up and disappeared full, I did place an experimental tent by the NE AF with 40 rnds in it to see if it goes away, update later

In general yes there have been adjustments to the game play and frequencies of loot spawning. IMO it is an adaptive change as it would be in a RL situation (without the Zs) of stuff not always being at the same type of place, so look more like in areas that normally you would not look (outhouses - food / supplies, deer stands - food, ammo and clothing).

Look at it this way Vybor Mil Base always had a lot of gear there mostly an over abundance of regular common stuff and very little rare items now it is a little more equal page of loot

No i have not seen a zucchini, orange or bell peppers lol yet.

With the changes, taking your time and being stealthy will keep you alive - I've looted whole villages, towns and cities crouched and had no problems with the Zoms but not much loot. Search Deer Stands and sheds etc on the outskirts of towns for high loot and they are a great map ref for navigation too.

I suggest we set at least 4 rally points on the map, North, South, East and West So if you respawn all you need to do is head to the nearest one and help is a server hop away.

For example - RALLY POINT SOUTH - This would be a good Rally (spawn) point) for anyone spawning on the south coast, Its close to water and the power line and road make navigation easy.

So...of course...I find an MP5 and I had dumped all of the mags for that when we were on the island...AND...I can't find any just laying around now!!!  LOL...gotta love DayZ!!!

I have 6 or 7 mags and looking for an AK74u or 74 or AK101,

Did have a glitch yesterday with a prest. PS01 scope just disappeared along with a mag and some ammo that i move from my inventory to re-arrage the backpack, FYI.

Yep...day in the life of DayZ.  Was on VPG with my MP5...grip and flashlight attached.  Server restart...GONE!!!  Ugh...this is like the 5th weapon that I have lost due to a server restart!!!  I know Nano says he hasn't had that happen, but I have now had that happen several times.  Oh well...still have an AKM and a 133 Shotty pistol grip...and a 1911, but no ammo...lol!!!

Yep...it's the 3rd weapon.  I assume that is the issue, but it hadn't been in the previous patch(es).  So, since this is Alpha, I figured I would put in a bug request...but have NO clue where to do this on the site of the forums.

On previous versions,  i'd put down a held weapon just to have it immediately vanish.  Found that if i walked couple hundred meters away and came back,  it'd be sitting there. Even through a restart of a persistent server.

ask Karma how long it took me to go from tent city to almost mil base back to the coast lol. just have to start that sprint completely healthy and avoid all likes of Zeds, hitting up deer stands along the way for vital sodas or food.
