AMD Quad Core A10 Unlocked Black Edition 7850K 3.7GHz
16GB DDR3 1866MHz OC Memory
4TB HD (adding an SSD for Games soon)
AMD Radeon Xfire R7 + 1GB R7 250 D5 (upgrading to the R9 series soon)
Logitech G510s keyboard
Logitech G500s mouse
Logitech G430 (blue) headset

Really happy with this basic gaming rig so far and the AMD Control Center is excellent, One click and I can Over Clock, adjust power / temp / fans etc and monitor it all on the G510s LCD screen. In a 64 man Hardline server Rig is running at 50-60% CPU - not bad for a basic rig.

I'm still researching monitors, I'm thinking an Asus 27" RoG Swift but not sure about all the G-Sync hype - Any thoughts / comments would be appreciated

Cheers

careful with OC's ram, have had a few issues with their product in the past, I usually chose either kingston hyper or some basic industry grade in my builds, OC just carries the name but product has had many timing issues...

You won't be able to use G-Sync since you have AMD cards.  This is what I bought recently and I love it.  http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009C3M7H0?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00

Cheers Warrior Woman, its basic but my first gaming rig ever lol, It was actually just supposed to be a short term rig while i built one but  I'm really happy with its performance. I'm an Nvidia fan but WOW - AMD gets it done a lot cheaper.

Thanks tet Will check it out

I would add that, if you are going to get an SSD, then it should be your main C: drive with your OS on it.
When i built my rig, thats what i did. I installed the likes of Office, Adobe CS3 etc to D: drive, then i installed the essentials lik W@W & Steam to C: Drive so the seek time is reduced to access them.
Obviously this would depend on how big the drive is and how many games you have. (i deleted some games i didn't play anymore).

I forgot to mention, you would most likely need to upgrade your video cards to push for 1440p gaming.

Still learning here - the spec sheet that came with my rig says it has 16GB DDR3 1866MHz OC Memory, a little concerned I open up the case and I'm looking at 2 gold 8GB  XPG Adata sticks (ADATA XPG V2.0 DDR3 2x8GB 2600Mhz CL11-13-13-35 @ 1.65V (512x8) Unbuffered Non-ECC Kit + GOLD HS)

They seem to be good so far

Never heard that name before, as long as she's booting and don't start unknown restart should be good...
