Went to play a game yesterday( hadn't  been on in quite awhile). Game would not start. I tried to run as admin as well but game would not even start. I have hard disc and it's not through steam. Have never had this problem before. Any insight?

Did you get an error message? What happens exactly?

No error message. I have a quick start icon on desktop. Click, hit multiplayer, than nothing. Load icon starts than stops.

Ok, it might be an issue with the icon on your desktop. Try going to start menu, all programs, games, right click on W@W and select    Call of Duty (R) - World At War (TM) Multiplayer.

Also open Task Manager and see if it's already running in background, this happens to me on occasion.
