The decision has been made to shut down on 21st July 2016 due to the lack of activity.
GOA.Johnny gave us an extension of 3 months to turn the numbers around, and that time ends on the 21st.
We have done a fairly good job to populate it as much as we have, i have personally seen as many as 19 in the server at 1 time and being populated from 8pm to 3am with at least 8 players. But, quite simply, this is not enough. We would need to have 12 or more players every day for most of the day.
Sadly, i just can't see this happening in time, it's close at night, very close, but that would need to happen all day, and i do mean all day.
The server (all servers) costs money to run, and we just can't afford to funnel money to a server that costs this much for so little amount of players willing to play in there. As we run entirely on donations, it is not fair on our other servers, and those who donate to keep BK running, to have any server that is under performing as much as W@W has been.
Last year we were hurt badly by the server crashing so often, for so long and with Punkbuster dropping support for W@W didn't help at all either.
So thank you all for supporting our W@W server, and hope you keep playing on it until it is removed.
Keep an eye out for events in W@W, because there will be lots more in July.

This game was very good to us and brought alot of good times with it. Ultimately there's just not enough people playing the game to support paying for it. BK has to look forward to keep growing. I invite everyone to jump in WaW and enjoy the game in all its glory for the last month.

Lets all jump on board for one last hurrahhh! I joined BK in 2009 when all we played was WaW. We ran 3 servers. Its been fun. Thanks Mr krinkle for your efforts. Salute.

I also invite people if they ever had an idea for an event to hold there own event now, all they need to do is ask for help from their Co/Cl or ask in TS for a hand.
Most event don't need much to hold them, only the events that need maps, kill streaks and tanks require senior admin help.

I would be nice if some events were held throughout the day too (hint hint).
Every now and then i will turn on the kill streaks, just for the lols.

Nice one Theone. Good job.
The other day we had 12+ for about 3-4hrs and we also had 22 players and 1 spectator for around 1- 1.5hrs, and i'll tell ya, it was awesome.
I also took a screen shot, but i made a mistakenly copied something else from our forums to help out a player before i pasted the shot into paint.
I was so excited to see so many people in our server, i just go too distracted and forgot
. I will just video it next time. lol

This special event will be hosted by Cpt. DiggerBaz & SFC MrKrinkle on our WaW public server in honour of the final days of WaW at BK
7 pm to 8 pm Bolts Only. CROUCH RULES APPLY
Rules: No scopes. Pistol walking OK - only indoors. No rifle nades. No marty. No 2nd chance. Bazooka. Betty ok. Satchel ok. Flamethrower. All nades allowed.
Maps: Seelow; Breach; Cliffside.
Note: we may mix it up with arty and dogs this time
8 pm - 9 pm Shotguns only. CROUCH RULES APPLY
Rules. No pistol walking. No rifle nades.. No marty. No 2nd chance . No bazookas Betty ok. Satchel ok. flamethrower OK No marty or 2nd chance
Only Tabun Gas and Sticky nades allowed. Smoke and flare ok
Maps: Asylum; Dome; and yes what would shotties be without...... yoooooooou guessed it , COURTYARD!!!!!!!
Please come along for some old fashioned fun. Oh and get your war face on.
