ah, thats why BF1 still has no good Antialiasing options. TXAA = shimmer junk FXAA = Vaseline on screen

I am forced to play at 200% render resolution, when they could just give us MSAA (transparency AA) like in BF4

What graphics card do you have? You can just set your driver software like nvidia control panel to override the applications anti aliasing setting and set up nvidias and if you have a modern card you can turn on MFAA from the nvidia control panel as well.
