My trusty Microsoft Comfort Curve 2000 is on its last legs (had to repair a circuit trace last night). Looking in the price range of ~$40 give or take about ten. Prefer to keep the flat ergonomic styling (hate the feel of the raised middle you see on most current ones) and no preference on actuator type as long as its not a horribly mushy membrane one.  The current is a dome-switch but does have a distinct change on activation (before bottoming out)

I like mechanical keyboards and I prefer Logitech but depend on what you want from it

So I found a Logitech G710+ on sale at my local Wal-Mart for $49 and picked it up - having never had a mechanical keyboard before, the clicky clicky will take some getting used too (and the wifes patience as well)    I know that reds are a lot quieter but for the price I found it hard to pass up.   Also bought a G105 ($25) but I think that one is going back here shortly
