Armanoid you should have a invite from myself and several other members. It will be in battle.net or BO4. Click on the friends icon and scroll down to the bottom. The invites are always on the bottom of the list. I know several of us sent you an invite after we talked that day. Pretty sure, JD, Tek, and Major sent you a request. May be more that I am leaving out but I know a bunch were sent that day. If it is not I will send another invite.

Okay after noting that your request did not come thru and you did not see mine and the fact Armanoid did not see my request either, I decided to look into this. Evidently Battlenet in their ignorance do not allow friends to be added from different regions for "performance" reasons.
In order to add a friend to the list in another region, I would have to create another account in that region and then add the game and friend. Based on the post I found this was determined in 2017 and complained about by everyone at the time. As this is my first Battlenet game, I was not aware of this fact.
I have not dug further to find out if there is a possible change to this policy but basically everyone in the Americas area could friend each other and the other in the EU would be able to friend each other and play together.
Rather stupid but the way it currently works.
