So this morning I read the coolest idea from are one and only Mr Krinkle. Since we consolidating our teams down to 3 why not rename them also. Please let me know what you think and what names possibly.

Question why don't we use the old Fire Teams that are no longer in use like Bravo we still have all the logos etc for them.

I don't mind moving on from the current fire team names. But I still would like to see the same style of names. Like Luke said, there are plenty of other retired fire teams we could use.

Ok so my idea was this, and please comment. I don't want to use anything that starts with an existing fire-team letter, and i would still like to move the Clan forward with bran new fresh names and with respect to Luke and Orck (thanks for the input) not use anything we have used in the past, I did think of resurrecting old fire team names and instantly thought, it was still in the past and that moving the deck chairs on the Titanic didn't work for them either.

My personal suggestions are:

1. If we use animals, it could be, 1 air, 1 land and 1 water. ie. Hawks, Wolfs, Sharks.
2. Gun names, it could be, M1A1s, 357s, or Kar98s
3. Car names, it could be, Mustangs, Vipers and Firebirds

I would also like to thank Armanoid again for this idea.

Oh and if we do pick No2 or No3 from this list and i'm not in the K98s or Firebirds, i will cry... loud, so be warned Laughing

It shouldn't be car names because whoever gets the Chevrolets will always be in maintenance getting repaired...(GTPer)

Perhaps breeds of jungle cats: Tigers, Cougars, and Lions

Perhaps names of venomous snakes: Cobras, Rattlers, or Vipers

Why don't we use names of old greek gods, Zeus, Apollo, Castor, Typhon, Pallas, Heracles, etc etc

Or the WW1 spelling Able, Baker, Charlie, Dog, ... in respect

Or we just make up something from "old" action herous Sly, Schwarzie, Chuck, Dolph,

Anyways lots of ideas and proposals just chattering along.

But, are the fireteams also beeing split up?
Or do we stay with our own striking members?

I have a great deal of respect for the armed forces and everyone who served, and apart from the gun types and maybe firebirds, i have heard all as squad names (movies tv shows & local squads) in some form that i have mentioned. Armanoid and i thought it would be nice to freshen the squad names up a bit.

Keep the conversation going, great stuff.

I like the animal/ car names idea. But i also really like Cyberlexe's idea of the WWI names.
And that is also only if we decide to change the names.
