Battlefield's new game will be called 2042 and from what I see I really like it. Looks a lot like BF3 and BF4 but bigger and better. Levelcap made a full breakdown of the new trailer and everything we know here:

Nice i do prefer jackfrags review it give more details also there is going to be a gameplay video coming out on Sunday. Does look good though

Was wondering the differences in ordering Battlefield 2042 through Origin or Steam. If ordered through steam do you still have to be logged into Origin to play?

If you can find any hardware. The two main components (Graphics card and mother board.)on my build are out of stock and have been for sometime.

Good links thanks for posting the links. Gotta wait for release of beta these videos all look ‘dark’ to me and tough to see anything and at the fast pace of the gameplay it might be tough to keep up. Alice great to see you!

The more I dive into 2042 the who Rentable server thing is becoming less of a thing. In fact, I highly doubt Rentable servers will become a reality.

The new trailer shows you can create custom servers to do anything you want. Including mode that only allows you to use knives or shotguns only.

My heart soared when I saw the Battlefield Portal trailer and read about it. Then I went back to the FAQ and searched info on servers. If only they would let people host their own dedicated servers again, this would be amazing.
