OK i currently have a Epson Acculase 1100 laser printer and the photo conductive unit has gone, and its actually cheaper to buy a new printer than get a new unit for it. I also had some issues with the print quality with it.

Now basically i would like some advice on a good laser printer, with a good cost per page.
i also need it to have a good resolution, my current one is 300 dpi which would be the minimum i could go.

heads up i will not go with hp unless there is no other option, they customer support is ********* (feel free to add your own bad words)

Good thing I read the last part, I was gonna suggest HP (and I agree their customer support is ********) but I still use their cheap laserjets at home.

I've never owned a laser printer (but I do like Canon's inkjet, so maybe they have an okay one. I do not see any that are rated highly so I suggest Samsung). They might have a mid-range priced laser that would satisfy your needs. I will research it for you. I take that back. I'm seeing the Samsung ML-2851ND monolaser 1,200 x 1200 dpi (600 resolution) newegg 169.99 us bucks.  Samsung really makes good products and I'm betting this is a good model. The cartridge for it is $95 us dollars. the ml-d2850B black.
Good luck. Personally I'd stay away from HP, Epson, and a long list of others.(my opinion)

Mr-T,

I would suggest going to www.delloutlet.com

They have a lot of great refurbished printers there. I got my color laser printer for around $180 US. I  have not had a single issue with mine and the print quality is exceptional.

My printer is a 1320c, but they don't show to have any in stock right now. They do have the Dell Laser Color Printer 2130cn showing at $229 US right now.

Sorry to hear yours broke, so hope you can find what ya need at the dell outlet.

I have a Dell Laser Printer, Model is  MFP1815DN. It is an all in one, laser printer, fax machine, copier. Has two paper trays and does a great job. When I bought the printer last year I purchased an extra toner, and I still have not used it.
