So yea the GF100 ( or fermi ) is going to be a WICKED chipset ;P ( No that doesnt mean youll be going to newegg and looking for the " BFG gtx100 " lol its just the chipset name )

The product the consumer will buy will prolly be something along the lines of the GeForce 360 and/or GeForce 380
Remember GF100 is just the chipset

Basically with Fermi the specification compared to the 200 series break down like this;

                                                      GT200 GF100        Result
L1 Texture Cache (per quad)        12 KB 12 KB           Faster Texture Filtering
L1 LD/ST Cache dedicated             -        16 or 48KB    Efficient physics & raytracing
Total Shared memory                16KB 16 or 48KB        More data reuse among threads
L2 Cache (shared)                        256KB 768KB        Greater texture coverage, compute performance

( This is the main reason the i7's are superior to other cpu's in the fact of having more cache )

With that being said with the new chipset not only will it support directx11 it will also have AAx32 :O!
With quoting nvidia " A computer will take the same amount of stress by using AAx32 compared to the tradition AAx8 " ( thats if what they say holds true Wink if thats the case WOW :D

In a Break down the new chipset is x2 fast in making simulations (67 to 141 FPS) and x3 times faster in AI pathfinding

Yes yes there has already been some tests done with the new cards ;)

Farcry 2
Settings are 1920x1200, 4xAA 16AA with ULTRA settings (Guru3D tests at very high). The time-demo is ranch small. ( if you dont know this game on full settings ROCKS most computers to date ( yes my card gtx260 only gets like 15-30 fps on this )

System specifications:

   * Core i7 960 processor @ default 3.2 GHz
   * 6 GB Memory
   * Windows 7 64-bit

The average FPS end result for the GTX 285 is 50 frames per second and just over 84 Frames per second for the GF100.

Of course you have to remember this is just a basic chipset so youll just have to wait till Evga and Bfg gets ahold of the chipset Wink
