I been having a ot of problems with my mouse and COD4, its the ony game that the mouse will loose connection with the bluetooth  hub and start moving erraticaly, looks like a bad lag, and then all the moves that are on the mouse "memory" will transfer to the computer and the sight will move really fast, this goes on and on, until i get i tired of playing and change for other game. the weird thing is that is just the mouse so its not some kind of video thing ( i think) cause the keyboard inputs will be completely normal in the game. and if i move the mouse really fast (that movement you do to find the cursor) the mouse will disconnect and make the sound of a device being unplugged on the computer (alas a USB drive). and then i have to wait for it to reconnect. really really tiring process...

anybody have anything to say on that?

So i am in the search of a new mouse, i have some in my mind, either the G9 or G7 from logitech or the sidewinder from Microsoft ( i am kind of a logitech fan tho) ebay or newegg have them for a fair cheap price.

what are your thoughts guys?

thanks

Lion

I have the 518MX from Logitech.  Looks like a standard mouse, feels like a standard mouse.  It has 8 buttons that are fully customizable and good decent software that allows you to set up to 5 dpi settings.  The only problem I have had with it is the Logitech has an updated version of the software that doesn't work for me (I think it's an OS thing - Vista).  The new software allows you to have different dpi settings in the x and y directions, where as the old software only allows one value for both x and y directions.

I also have the Logitech 518MX.  I have had it for quite a while, and still love it.  I know Grim had this one or maybe his was the G5 but Logitech all the way.

I got my G9 yesterday and got a chance to prove it with our DD friends. its hard to get used to it after having a big mouse (mx1000) but let me tell you guys its like going from an old cadillac el dorado to a new cadillac STS.  light, small yet powerful.
I am very pleased with it, still need to figure out the profiles thingy.

ebay has it for really cheap, even if you buy it with aftermarket warranty.
