Please take not that most ppl are happy that the 4.0 has multi-tasking abilities.  Sadly this is feature is is only available on the 3GS and iPhone 4 due to lack of on board memory to support the feature.

3G   - 128MB
3GS - 256MB
4G   - 512MB

I have been using the 4.0 Beta for a few weeks now on my 3G and the MT features slows down your device quiet a bit. But the rest of the new features are super awesome.

Oh I didnt realize there was an update for the iPod, I just know about the iPhone which I havent had a chance to update since the release. Im at work right now and if I do the update here I wont have numbers or anything until I get home. I can wait.  LOL

Im sad about the iPod update, my iPod was stolen out of my car about 3 weeks again.

I keep having nightmares about something happening to my $500 Gary Fisher bike.  First it was a shredded tire, then last night it was theft.

Im updating my 3G iPhone right now.  iTunes wanted to back up all my files before it would update.  I had already updated all my files with sync but the update still wanted to back up.  The problem is the back up time was very very very very long.  I tried a few ideas but what seems to have worked for me was doing a phone restore.  The restore updated the firmware and afterwards I just resorted the backup files I had already saved.

Tet, I have the same nightmare about my Iron Horse but they have to get thru the Fideaux defenses before my baby leaves its nest.  What type of Fisher do you have, or where you joking about it being stolen?  

Just finished with the Iphone OS 4 download and thought I would post my ramblings while I wait.

Good for you.  iPhone is like a drug.  Once you are hooked you cant get away from it.  That should have an AA for it.
