I know it's chauvinistic, but everytime Piper talks on TS that pinup pops into my head (I am still a male member of the human race!) No disrespect meant  

Let me weigh in here and say that I absolutely LOVE the art (yes, art) that I was gifted with.  I am probably one of the least easily-offended people I know, and having someone say "Wow--I think of this amazing art and associate that with your name/voice" is nothing short of a compliment as far as I'm concerned!

Let me tell you what I love about what Heraclas accomplished with this:  He gave expression to a feminine, sexy, tough, cheerful ideal--the kind of girl that the boys would have wanted to come home to from over there.  That's what I love about the WW2 Pin Up girls.  You got grace, beauty, feminine wiles, comfort....all in a package that was pleasing to look at.

Just like men, women have many sides.  I'm a mother and a wife, too--I know Pippin (my 9 year old who plays with me for those  of you who haven't met him) and my youngest would identify me as someone who WAS in a kitchen, making supper, giving hugs and kissing boo-boos.  How could I be anything but flattered by that, too?

I guess what I'm saying is--no one is one thing.  The femme fatale has a domestic side, just like the housewife may have a secret stash of stiletto heels, or the business woman may like to moonlight as a lounge singer, while her dancer sister may be working on her PhD in Literature.  

Isn't that what makes people so great?  None of us are one-notes.

So--I'd like to say THANK YOU.  To Heraclas for making something so incredibly beautiful for me.  To all of my BK family for being such wonderful people to play with--all of you are unique and amazing.  And I appreciate you.
