Hey guys, I have a used headset that can go to a home for free.  The reason I replaced them is that they are cracked and don't wear well if you are playing for a long period of time.  They work fine, both mic and sound, and it plugs into a USB port, all the drivers are on the USB connector.

I have attached photos so you can see my duct tape repairs.  One small one on the mic, and one large on on the head piece.

If you have any questions, please ask.

Pastor Dan,
If this is open to recruits, I'll take them.  I can't play with sound most of the time because the wife is asleep and this would let me do just that plus get on TeamSpeak while I'm playing.

What did you replace them with. I have the PLANTRONICS 655 that are very worn. I am looking to up grade. Let me know what you buy!

CADFather, they are yours!  Go to my profile and email the address you want it shipped to.

MrHome, I replaced them with the exact same thing - Gamecom 777 - just a brand new set off of ebay for about 1/2 the retail cost.  I really like them, and the next step up in headsets was too pricy for me.

Yup 777 is what I use too, you can find them at 1/2 price on eBay like Dan said as an 'open box' item.

They sound and feel great.

The same thing happened to my headset. I have pretty much the same model as you do... it might be a cheaper version though. I tried my best to fix mine with duct tape, but they're still a little loose. I'm gonna try super gluing it and then duct taping it.

WannaB, I had several gaming friends recommend the Sennheiser PC350; everyone who owns them, LOVES them, but just out of my budget range right now...how long you had them?

I have PC350 as well and love 'em.  I've had Sennheiser phones in the past as well and have never found the need to shop for other brand.  Since the PC350s are 150ohm impedance, I replaced my creative xfi sound card with the ASUS Xonar Essence STX, which has a built headphone amplifer that provides additional power for higher impedance phones.  They sounded good before, now they rock/thump/boom...
