Im not sure who comes up with these number or how high they go, but no matter what I do, I just cant hit an 8.

You must be using an SSD.  My mechanical drive is holding me way back.

In windows 7 the maximum number you can have is 7.9

In Vista the highest you can get is 5.9

Why don't we post our rigs specs below our ss?

Hmm that explains why its not 8 Wink

A buddy of mine has OCZ's revo drive and hes got an 8. Of course it reads well over 700+ mb/s

Well Im not going to complain about getting a 7.2 with what I spent for the system.
