Hey there H1N1, have you tried to read the xml file? this should contain the crash cause data in a readable format. From there you maybe able to deduce the trouble maker.
Good luck,
Mike (aka Shawgrin, Bio, fergard)

Do you have the actual B.S.O.D. (Blue Screen of Death) Code?
>>> usually 0x000000--- (fill in the last digits) but with zero x 6 zeros to start the code.

H1N1--- I use Registry Mechanic by Pc Tools and I swear by it. I run it auto. every day at 7
M and it repairs registry. Very quick and does a good job.
Cost is under $30.00 for one year subscription. Well worth it for me.

H1N1,
Try downloading CCleaner at MajorGeeks.com
http://majorgeeks.com/CCleaner_Standard_d5125.html
It is meant to clean the junk off your computer, but it also has a Registry Fixer built into it and it is free.
(I personally use it with Win7 so I know that it is compatible.)
