T-Mobile Phones/customers

Ok, I asked in TS, but it was so noisy, I couldn't hear the responses.

Basically, I have a BlackBerry 9700 for T-Mobile with out the Data plan.

I am looking to upgrade and get a Droid phone. My choices are: the G2x and the HTC Sensation  Comparison Chart

Basically, they both have the same specs. I do plan on getting the $10/month Data plan for now. I only want to use it for Documents (Excel, Word, PDF) and occasional Google Search and BK forum posts (lol) Text messaging, and a few apps. Maybe this might be too much for me, but I am getting tired of the BB.

I heard the G2x had/has issues of freezing and overheating and what ever. A patch has or is coming out to fix these issues, and the Sensation doesn't and you can Hack the Sensation to customize it to your needs. (Not an illegal Hack, Samsung makes it so you can do this on purpose)

What are you using and/or what are your suggestions?

I personally would wait until the T-Mobile/AT&T merger goes through and then you will have a much bigger selection of phones to select from.  The only benefit from getting a T-Mobile phone now is you will lock yourself into a Unlimited Data plan that will be cheaper then you can get once the merger happens.

My 2 cents

From what I hear, the AT&T Merger was denied, and they did put an Appeal in.....but now the wait is on...but I guess I could wait...just doing some research right now..

Or you would switch to Verizon.  Get yourself a Droid 3 or Droid Bionic.  I personally will from here on out be sticking with Motorola phones.

I have the Droid 2 running the Cyanogenmod7 rom.  This is what my phone looks like.
