Match prep turnouts

We've been experiencing very poor turnouts in the match preps. Is this because of on overload on preps due to the Round Robin matches or just burning out on Black Ops or the scheduled prep time?

Do we still have enough peeps that want to have Matches against other clans or should we ease up on our efforts to organize them?

Thank you

I simply think people don't read the forums enough...we need to stress on that more at the next team meeting maybe.

Could be a little bit of everything then add in that it is summer and many people are busy.

my 2 cents

most are just trying to find the time to make fireteam matches as its a 15 week event

usual match load was 1 or 2 fireteam scrims a month with a couple of clan matches thrown in

now fireteam load is better than twice that

on the plus side clan members are getting expierence in the other game modes which will make your leading them in clan matches easier in the long run

the last 2 match preps were 10pm est which is 3am gmt......and the match being the same time means the europe players cant participate

I can only speak for this week as I just became a member.  I think the match prep times could be clearer in the forums.  However, I have been part of clans and online gaming for some time and it ALWAYS seems that participation is lowest in the summer months.  People are on vacation.  The days are longer.  Member's kids aren't going to bed as early as they are during the school year. etc. etc.

We do not have many matches with other clans and don't plan to add to many more for the rest of the summer. That should help but legend if you want get me on TS and I can talk with you about ideas on how to get the word out so more people show up.

I dunno how much clearer you can get by posting the match prep and match times on our home page.  There's always an abundance of players on during these times...just noone knows about it or doen't want to participate.

HeHawKilLer one of the things that are best is always putting it up in front of people. Talking about it on TS days before the event and getting people pumped. In short you need to  be a PR company about it.

That's a good point Luke...but I know that it has been said days in advance  on TS and posted in the forums.  Maybe some people are too afraid to participate cause they never have before...well don't be, come in have some fun , i'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I would agree to an extent with the whole summer thing. I know I have been doing something around the house and had to remind myself of the time so I could make a prep. The other problem for me for clan scrims is they have always happened on my work days; a couple were not but then had to be rescheduled and ended up on my work day. When that happens I dont come to the preps because I wont be at the scrim.
