Crimson Skies was my first entry to multiplayer.
It took me awhile but I found a sight to download the game, any patches and you won't need the disc to play. Site forums said it will work on Win7 and 8, not sure for Win10.

The only issue I have is it won't save my plane and campaign progress.

Just a heads-up my AV flagged it as a Trojan: this maybe b/c of how it operates (file downloader) but after getting hit by a crypto locker variant from a drive by site im a little cautious

I think it was flagged because it has code so you don't need the disc installed to play.
