Nice. Your name is a bit hard to read. Maybe make that fade effect few pixels thiner.

Better. Try adding  1 pix outline to the name letters. Use that background color around the sun.   Very Happy

I think you should incorporate the most famous british aircraft in an evolution transition kinda theme.
Have the camel, spit , the mosquito, and the harrier blended forward using size increases until you end with your hawk.
