This is a real thing - my attorney for other stuff sent me this link to apply to be part of the $725 million settlement that Facebook agreed to pay to settle a Class ACtion lawsuit. Payout will likely be small for anyone but still potentially something. Users enter their info at facebookuserprivacysettlement.com. Users had to be users from May 2007 and December 2022.

The lawsuit claimed that Facebook did not monitor third-party access or use of some of their data.

The deadline is 25 August of this year and may have affected 87 million users.
