As you go thru it you may, depending on Wndows 11 set up, need to do several BIOS things to actually engage SecureBoot. If you get errors or notes to activate other stuff just ‘google’ the note and the directions will guide you through. Catch me online for help if needed. Not posting more as your setup depends on your manufacturer and or the set up done for Windows 11.

well that's no good. enabled secure boot and my computer wouldn't boot anymore. it was giving me a bad video card error. had to remove my card and use onboard hdmi instead of display port. finally got to reset without secure boot and my computer is working again. hope the main game doesn't require secure boot or I'll have to sit this one out.

why do they require secure boot to begin with? what purpose is that for?

so the secure boot is meant to help with the fight against hackers and I read that both bf6 and cod bo7 will require secure boot. as for your issue with the computer not working with secure boot have you check a couple of things like does your motherboard and cpu both support secure boot and if so do you have the latest bios firmware, i know when i was first setting windows 11 up i need to update the bios to the latest version for it work, Also some motherboards have the option of installing a physical TPM2 module which just plus straight on to the motherboard and they are about $10

but first thing i would do is google your problems with secure boot and your hardware see if anyone has had the same issue and if they fixed it and how

Right on the money mr-t my getting secure boot continuously mentioned Window 11 has the sceure boot option and is anctivated or not at installation and google searches reveal straight foreard (to me) fixes. It seems to be the way forward for gaming for security cosiderations.
