I like it very much as all Beta releases bugs but it feels more ‘real’ like earlier shooter games. I will be buying it snd am convinced that full release Hardcore will be awesome!

Battlefield 6 – First Impressions from Bad Karma

I’ll be honest—Battlefield has never been my go-to. In fact, I used to avoid it entirely. But with the Call of Duty franchise taking a hard turn into Fortnite territory, I’ve been forced to look elsewhere. Surprisingly, Battlefield 6 has caught my attention.

I like it… but this is not Call of Duty. If you try to play it like COD, you’re going to have a bad time. Battlefield demands a completely different approach—slower, more tactical, and teamwork-driven. That actually plays to our strengths as a clan.

There is one major change to get used to: squads are limited to four players. For those of us used to running six, this will feel odd. Because of that, I recommend we set up 2–4 squad channels in our Battlefield 6 TeamSpeak section. Communication will be critical, because this game is intense, chaotic, and full of moments where coordination can make or break a match.

Bottom line: Battlefield 6 isn’t COD, and that’s exactly why it might work for us.

First off I’m enjoying bf6 but the bugs I have experienced are very minor and for a beta that is good, it’s much much better than bf2042 was on release. But I do think it is fair to point out the bugs I experienced but also the stuff I think make the game good

So bugs,
Random light so I have had walk they have emitted bright light that blinds me
Unable to skip revive
Unexpected damage (Granada launcher explosion destroyed building wall but didn’t kill the enemy standing between the explosion and the wall
Been killed as you are revived made my character keep flipping from belly to back.
Strange graphic stretching when dead coming from the center of the screen

Things I think make the game better
Revive and dragging, so if you are waiting to be revived it tells you how close people are that can revive you
No stupid skins
Choice of ere to spawn at least in most game modes
Destruction been able to blow a hole in a wall to make a new path great not always possible or advised but good

It's obviously taking a very different direction from COD but even with that, it is a Battlefield game. I have always loved the gun play in COD games but only when it is a Modern Warfare or World War version. I have never cared for Black Ops versions.

That being said, if you don't like traditional Battlefield games then you will not like this one. I will say that I am probably going to get it and play it when it comes out. Hope that others will also join enough that we can push a battle.

I'm just currently stuck with using a wifi internet so my speed and lag sucks pretty bad. Only success I had was with sniping last night.

As far as different channels for squads.. this has always been a struggle for us since it breaks down the clan feeling into smaller groups. I would say if anything, we need to have a blue side and red side channel. If you're able to get on blue then go there and link up with the others on that team. You don't have to be in the same squad to still work together.

I played all 4 days and am looking forward to next weekend as well and also the final release in October.  CoD, especially BO6, is dead to me.  I'll never waste another dollar on any of their titles nor will I ever play it again save the occasional MWIII zombies map and MWII DMZ.  Once they started coming out with ridiculous player skins and ludicrous weapons it was all over for me.  Battlefield 6 is the future here.

I too am completely over the shenanigans in CoD, Activision has lost the plot at best.
B6 is a beautiful looking game, but is also brutal. it will take me longer than 6hrs to know what i'm doing in there, but I will have another crack at it on the next free weekend. looking forward to it.

COD lost me after the original Black Ops. Looking forward to playing BF6 with more clan mates. It looks promising but they have fooled us before.
