Nothing for nothing, but no one, I mean NO ONE, does games better then Valve...
Sure, CoD sells mass amounts of games, altho they're re-hashes of previous versions...but again, no one goes through what Valve does in order to release an incredible game...from secretive development to outrageous advertsising...
This is but the latest:
If you buy the Potato Sack on STEAM...

Then there's this...
http://dejobaan.net/dl/helpme/
What does it all mean? Simply this...GlaDOS has taken over 13 games in the Potato Sack...GlaDOS has also secretly hidden massive amounts of messages for people to find...I mean this is insane and just goes to show just how much Valve does it in style...

Enjoy!

rofl, thats pretty awesome. yea, you cant beat Valve. My favorite is the custom made "launch buttons" for various games of Valve's. The story goes that for the launch of Half-Life 2 (which was one of the companies first new releases on Steam), Gabe Newell and the other execs thought that a timed server launch or someone at a server hitting an enter button was a bit of a letdown, after all the hard work that the team had put into the game. So they had a special button made, that when pressed started a smoke generator and a siren, with accompanying strobe lights.
Since then, there have been other buttons for various releases, such as orange box.
I love a Developer that can have fun!

to add to the hype, here's the latest thing that Valve has done. As previously stated, GLaDos has hacked "the Potato Sack" bundle of games, inserting little hints and clues throughout. Well, as of 0900 pst today, when you open steam along the top you will see a banner that says "Help release Portal 2 Earlier", its based on how many people play the games in the potato sack.
I dont know if they actually would release the game early or not, if they got enough cpu's, but right now "the potato sack" is about 40 bucks for 13 games, and I can say from experience that they are all hilarious fun. ATM, Audiosurf is probably my favorite, basically you surf this ribbon through space trying to match colored blocks. The best part is that the course is governed by music that you select, from your own audio library.
Anyways, get out there and fueling that evil machine! We want portal 2 early!!

Heh...yea saw that earlier today...Valve never ceases to amaze...
I actually didn't buy the "Potato Sack" since I have most of the games already...but they all were recently updated thanks to GlaDOS...
The secret level in "The Ball" is awesome...likewise for the aperature level in Killing Floor...and indeed Audiosurf is just a fantastic game...I still play it often...nothing beats surfing to your own music library...my tracks range from uphill blues/purples/greens to fast downhills in orange/red to total slant fast tracks in red...my playlist varies from rock to heavy metal to pop, dance, country, techno/trance right down to classical...
Yes I Audiosurf classical music...check this track out...
