I have not been able to play black op after i installed new maps pack. Let me explain. I can play black ops till one of the new maps in the rotation comes up. All i see of the new map is the picture of it on the start up screen then nothing freeze, lock what ever you want to call it. I have tried to remove game and reinstall no luck, checked for corrupt files all good. I dont know what to do next but as of now i can not play. This is why i have not been on for a month.

Did you actually purchase the map pack?
If so then it is likely to be a corruption somewhere.
Go to steam and 'validate' your game to fix it. BTW, there's also been a couple of steam client updates.

Yes i  bought the map pack from steam. Part of the problem is when i download a fresh black ops  game the map pack is auto installed with it.
