Well here's yet another render that I just finished using one of the tutorials Herc had pm'd me...

would it be possible to make a short movie that would teach and show us the way you work with the program? i m still having problem figuring this out

a bit low Q but it comes with the time to create a better quality....the correct sharpening ,shadows.......

hehe lookin cool ,i like how the planets collapse, really good idea.
all you need to improve at the moment is your "blending" to make all the planets & space-ship more matching the whole pic.
-the colors need to match each other better
-the space-ship : the shadows and lights at it are not matching with the BG.....your lights in the BG are more milky and the light at the ship is very clear...
you know what i'll upload another PSD for you where you can see how i blend the cut into the bg and how i make my c4d's exactly fitting with the BG.
i upload this now.......take just a few mins...

As always thnx for the advice buddy...
What I wanted to really accomplish here was the whole planets smashing into each other thing...wanted to keep at the whole 'smudging' concept and it seems to have paid off...
And yea, I do tend to put various colors into my sigs...I had actually had the colors a bit more uniform when I used different photo filters but decided on a warm 85 filter...
Probably should've dimmed the center star as well...least the good thing is that I can now go back and revise...try a few different variations...
