and about the ts thing ..i couldnt do it even though im there to make friends i usually only use ts for tactical play where its pretty much shop talk
other than that there are nights that i would hop on to shoot the breeze, but i have been in a family based chat group b4 , and it just didnt work out for me allways having to watch myslef on language,or having something slip out and be frowned upon..its just not me,and i when im worried about watching my language and such,it distracts me in my game play which annoys me
pretty funny i guess that i can annoy myself more than a silly little game, but it happens..nothing against any of you guys .you all seem cool and i enjoying messin around on the servers with all of you,and will continue to do so
great servers and great core of players
also the cod4 tournaments i participate in do not allow multi clanning in any game..which is kind of a bummer

SILEXX,
Dont take tihs the wrong way,but you are taking the comments way to personal.
I catch grief for campping and am pround of it, and thank them for it(see sig and avatar), maybe you should get the graphics team to work something up for your Last stand play style.
I love it when they rage quit cause they cant hang :)
there all many different style of play and just as many comments...Pistol walker...noob tuber.... spray and pray... run and gun... camper

TS rule #1 should keep disrespectful comments out of TS channels and CoD:BO rule #4 should keep disrespectful comments out of ingame channels. If someone is breaking the rules, then I imagine the BK rules should be enforced and the protocol followed. I've only visited the TS channel twice now and everyone seemed very polite and friendly. Go figure.

silexx,
I'm not talking about stealing ppl's claymores, I'm talking about using the intel that hacker provides by highlighting the enemy claymores and other devices to determine where enemies are, so I kno where to sneak to/avoid (as situations warrant). As I said, about 1/3 of my kills I credit to hacker, because when most people camp a spot, they drop a claymore on their blind side, thereby telegraphing their position and the way they are looking, to me.
the kit that i seem to keep coming back to is the galil/AK47, with ghost/hardened/hacker, and a jammer. This way, i can either sneak up on someone once i see their clay, or i can just fire through the walls where i know they are, because of where the claymore is. It is very very very rare that i get the chance to hack a claymore or turret or something, i usually have more important things to do.

There's many a time when pfrman will snipe me from the same position 3-4 times in a row before I can get the jump back on him.
It happens very rarely, but the immense satisfaction of sinking a knife into his back makes up for it!
So, each to their own ...

Fantastic, well written argument/defense Silexx, Kudos!. I, too, hear a lot of QQing on TS lately re: walling, second chance, h**kers, spawns, losing, not hitting, getting killed, etc, and it really grinds my gears.

I for one use Last Stand Pro with one of my builds...most times I get double tapped so the whole last shots are null & void...however I mainly like it for the Pro ability to be revived if I can crawl to cover...
And yes, I get the same whining "tuber/last stand noob" chatter from various servers I play on...I just tell 'em "hey, if the server allows it, deal with it"...as the old saying goes - "kill 'em with kindness"...
As for Flak Pro, I pair that with Tactical Mask Pro since I use this particular build for DEM/HQ servers...
It all boils down to your style of gameplay, which mine continually evolves (aka mixing builds/perks)...and in most cases, all for the better...

Eh, I can't claim innocence in this. I've voiced irritation with second chance. I admit that it drives me crazy, mostly because the pistols are just too accurate. I also tend to voice it off of TS. Mostly because I know it gets old and also it's a bit too colorful for TS. Heh. The gripe about talk on TS and that it interferes with the game play has been going on since I've been w/ BK. One thing that I think is forgotten is the chat is where the strong relationships that are found within this group are found and grown. It's an integral part of the group. People find that if they are on different channels that they may be missing out on talking with others that they would like to. There are options, other rooms in TS, which was mentioned earlier, or the voice comms found within the game. That is an option as more than just those that are on TS can hear what you are saying. Perhaps helping them. I use both. I just don't talk too much unless the mood catches me. Besides, my humor and language is often too rough for it. Either way, relax. Have fun. Take the gripes as something that must be working...for you and too bad for them. You should hear me gripe about H1N1 and the numerous kills he has on me! LOL

Please don't get me wrong - I know the difference between a friendly jab, joke and the utterance of frustration. That's is NOT what I am talking about - its calling people cheats, second chance is for losers, or voicing that you are leaving a server because of XXXXXX....
I'm not offended and my feelings aren't hurt - and this is certainly not personal. Maybe it's just me and thinking that I am just hearing too much complaining (whiners). I would think with all these ex-military guys on here (including myself) you'd quickly hear the "Cowboy the XXXX up!" or at the very least. However, being polite and friendly - I usually stay radio silent.
Oh well...I just got to a point the other night when it just got too much and I logged off TS. Then I thought to myself, hey - I am part of this gang - I should (in a polite fashion) let people know my frustration (at the very least) - they may not care to listen, but at least I got it off my chest.
Thanks - I feel better.

OK guys...really? This much argument over a perk? I will truthfully say I'm still a novice to all of this. I will also openly admit that my skill level
resemble a tottlers,so I use both a flack jack and Second Chance so I can at least have a chance against all you talented folks.
Now,if antone would want to take me into a private server and give me some pointers and helpful critiques on my poor gaming talents
I,d get outa my wheelchair and do a back flip!
All this said,my apologies to Echo team...since they got stuck with me. I'll do my best guys!

Silexx, I used to use 2nd Chance a lot. I also got frustrated by people's comments. You just have to remember that people are upset (mostly with themselves) because they got killed due to the fact that they didn't finish you off. Also, as someone mentioned before, if the server allows it, then it's legal (not cheating). If the other player doesn't like it, they can go to a server which doesn't allow it. Don't feel bad because other people have a problem with your way of playing the game. Skellet (and plenty of other members here) have put me down often enough. I could hold a grudge, but they simply play better than I do.

ya know what, people whining wont make me stop using second chance/last stand/rifle nades or anything like that......if they dont like it.....oh boohoo
Well said Silex and Ladyhawk. This is supposed to be a polite and friendly atmosphere, but latley it hasn't been, i rather think this clan has gone downhill for representing the "above and beyond"! I miss the old days...and i'm pretty sure it will NEVER be that way again! Games will always have items some people don't like or use...all i say is MAN UP...play the game...take your death, and stop acting like a bunch of children...this clan has alot of older guys playing that i swear are only 15 by the way they complain so much...just get on with it and play. If someone is in a server that you don't get along with or don't like their gameplaying style...just stay outa that server. Sad to say...when clans get as big as BK is getting...that's when they start to fall apart, and loose all the old players that have made this clan happen! We used to be a very close-nit clan, that everyone got along with...now it's constant fighting, complaining, and degrading others for how they play, not to mention how unpolite and unfriendly some situations are handled by by senior officers and by the GOA! Sad to say...i've watched a few good senior members leave now, as well as me for the way this clan is being conducted!

Its good to know your BK secrets. I totally use ninja with headset. I rely on sounds a lot! I Position the direction of my guy to hear where sounds are coming from. I think it has gotten me in trouble on a few servers. I hear non-ninja crouch foot steps people climbing and all.
I dislike last stand, but I wont complain. Its part of the game. Sorry, I may not revive you. Every time I do, I get killed.
