Submitting the ticket is the only way to find out, as far as I know. I've heard that it can take a few days or so, for a new ticket to be reviewed, if there is a large number of tickets in the queue. And that is possible, since there are multiple Polite & Friendly servers in multiple games. If you haven't heard anything after a week, I would follow-up here on the forums (unless a higher up replies after me and suggests something different). Being polite & respectful when submitting a ticket and posting on the forums won't hurt your case, either. So, you're off to a good start.

Ya, I have another ticket still open from August for Black Ops, so I'm not to confident this will get resolved.

It's a bummer since both servers have such a great ping and now I can't play in them.

Didn't learn your lesson from the first ban, eh? We only ban for seriously bad behaviour, and give a warning unless it's a racist remark or something bery hateful towards players/admins/servers. We take these things very seriously.
All that being said, we do not do cross-server bans. We have 1 World at War, 4 Black Ops, and 3 BF3 servers.
Yes, a ticket is your only means of having a ban lifted.

CHUD,
It has nothing to do with learning a lesson. Thank you for the polite comment. The main reason I like your BK servers is that you don't let the kids get carried away. I have played in your other 3 BO and one other BattleField3 server with no problems. I do realize there is no cross-server ban as I play in other BK servers, but the ping is higher so I prefer the CA servers.
If I did something then I would have know it and said I'm sorry or wouldn't bother typing in your forums. In Black Ops, I may have typed something to a player mouthing off to me. But It wouldn't have been very hateful and especially to admins. I don't recall a single warning toward me in Black Ops and I don't recall ever typing anything in your BattleField3 server other than maybe a "sorry" for an accidental TK.
I have been patient with the BO ticket and never posted in the forums about it. I've seen Tickets get some resolution usually when someone posts about the ticket in the forums. I was just trying to put it out there hoping it would get done so I know why.
Have a great day!
Godspeed
