Ok, so we decided to upgrade our DirecTV to the "Whole House HD DVR" that they offer...I just got my confirmation in my email...I set it up for 8am-12pm on Wednesday the 7th. The email states the following (quoted)
"Please review your order below and note that this is not a bill.
Your installer will arrive between 6:00AM - 2:00AM on Tuesday, March 6, 2012."
How long do they actually think I will wait around???????

The Installer should Call you also to give you a hour window, I love my Whole Home DVR, I have the media Center so we can record 5 shows at one time
, My Installers were here 4 hours and that was re-using most of the old Cable runs.

Wow! That's a long time...That's also what I am getting, the Media Center....but looks like I have to wait, according to my window, almost 20 hours.......lol

It was a new dish install...........good bye concast........... And on a 112 year old home 3 stories tall
It was fun they got their stairmaster in for the day between the basement and second floor.............LOL

ANY 1 knocking on my door at 2AM better come armed is all im saying ... geez dont they have normal hours of buisness .. u know like wait till u sit down for supper then show up .. lol best of luck bud .... now that said i got direct tv AND LOVE IT think u will 2
