Starting this June, the successful multiplayer component for first-person shooter Battlefield 3 is expanding.

Electronic Arts and studio DICE announced three downloadable expansions are in the works, starting with Battlefield 3: Close Quarters this summer.

Details of the game's battle plan were revealed at an event during the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco.

Remember back when they said they would release a HUGE patch, I said "in March they are going to release details on the new DLC coming out"...

Just think by the end of this year when DICE/EA has released all DLC for this year there is still six more yes SIX MORE DLC packs to come out!  How I know this, I have my sources within EA.

Just hope they won't release anymore maps like Operation Metro with the bottle necked stairs!

With my luck they give it to x-box first and everyone else will have to wait a month like they did with lack ops.
