I got a chance to jjump on last night and logged on and for some reason get stuck on the joining server screen and then it juat stops there was fine till the last Patch

It happens some times just back out and try again. You may need to re load battle log in the browser.

Open up Origin, right-click BF3, and "Repair Install". it's check to make sure you have all the necessary files any that are incorrect/missing/corrupt.
Do you use a 3rd party firewall that may be blocking you? Is your PC on an intranet, such as at a college or something? Did you try other servers? Is your Battlelog Plugin up to date? Did you try a different browser?

I will take a look at that next time i get a chance thanks abram. Just wierd how the only thing that has changed was the update everything was running smooth till then
