Steam friends now has the ability to add "Tags" to people. Basically it just makes a new section on your Steam friends list. You can add people to the group for easy finding etc. Its pretty neat if you have certain people you only play or met in certain games.
Just go to your friends list and click the Down arrow next to someone name and select Tag as., to set up new groups/tags.
